Where will the games be played?
All venues will be facilities within an approximate 30 min. radius of the city of Buffalo.
Where will the competing teams come from?
The teams will come from across the United States and Canada. Teams participated from across the United States as well as several Canadian provinces.
How Do I Determine my Teams Age?
As with nearly all US based tournaments, age is determined by the cutoff date of April 30th of the tournament year. The age of the oldest player on your team as of that date is considered the age of your team. Canadian based teams, this age calculation is different than the January 1st date used throughout most of Canada. Please be sure you calculate your teams age correctly prior to registering.
Who will Umpire the games?
We will be using the regions best umpire crews. All officials will be certified professionals.
What is included in the event?
This event includes top notch competitive atmosphere of the tournament itself and FREE customized caps for their team.
Where do I Send my Payment?
Only after successfully completing your online registration, checks should be made payable to Cap Classic Buffalo and sent to: Cap Classic Buffalo, C/O Inferno Baseball, 3950 Broadway, Depew, NY 14043. Only payments accompanied by an online registration invoice will be accepted.
Is there a Payment Deadline?
Teams that successfully register online and make payment by credit card will be confirmed for the tournament immediately. Teams that pay by check will have their tournament registration held for 14 days to provide payment. If payment does not reach us within 14 days, the team will be placed on a waiting list pending payment and space availability. This 14 day grace period is not guaranteed multiple times should a team reregister for the tournament after their initial registration was dropped for failure to make payment. On subsequent registrations for the same team, a team spot may be dropped at any time and is only guaranteed when payment is received and space remains.
Will this tournament sell out?
Some divisions are typically sold out starting on October. Nearly all age divisions are sold out by January. Waiting lists exist in all age divisions by tournament kickoff.
Can I hold a spot with a deposit?
Due to the high demand for entry in this tournament, only payment in full can confirm your participation.
I'm from Canada - How do I pay for the tournament?
Canadian teams electing to pay by other than credit card must pay by check or bank draft in US Funds Only. Your Bank can help you provide this payment.

How do I order my free caps?
A representative from our cap order department will contact you as soon as your team payment is received and registration confirmed.
Can I order additional caps beyond the free 18 I will receive?
Absolutely. An additional cost, based on cap style, will be charged to you for each additional cap ordered.
What is your refund policy?
Prior to your cap order being placed and before June 1 - your credit toward a future event will be your full tournament registration. Once your cap order has been placed and prior to June 1 - you will receive your team caps plus a registration fee credit less $350. After June 1 - no credits will be given. Your will receive your team caps. In the event your team ordered additional caps beyond the 18 included with the tournament registration, no credits will be issued while any outstanding balance for additional caps remains. Credits will be issued approximately 60 days after completion of the event.
Do I have to come to Headquarters to check-in?
No. Check-in is now done electronically. All required waivers and insurance will be completed prior to the start of the tournament.
How many games will be played in the tournament?
There will be approximately 350 games played.
How many games are we guaranteed to play?
All divisions will play a minimum of 4 games - weather permitting.
What can you tell me about the schedule tournament weekend?
Game schedules will be available approximately 7 days prior to tournament start. Coaches/parents should plan on the following for the tournament weekend: Games will start promptly at 8AM Friday morning. All teams MUST have all online paperwork completed Thursday evening and ready to play at 8AM Friday. NO EXCEPTIONS! Team will need to be prepared to play as many as 2 games Friday and 2 games Saturday. Playoffs and consolation rounds on Sunday.
Can I make a scheduling request?
Unfortunately due to the large number of teams and facilities being coordinated for this event, it is impossible for us to address individual team requests. All teams must be prepared to play baseball starting 8am Friday morning.
What paperwork is required at check-in?
All roster, waiver and insurance with proper additional insured of tournament host and sponsor will all be completed electronically prior to the event. Further details and forms will be provided in a mailing in May.
